Harbor Medical Associates Achieves Four Star**** HEDIS Rating


Harbor Medical Associates has been recognized for meeting the HEDIS standards with the highest honors to be achieved (Four Star Rating) from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for a fifth consecutive year.


HEDIS, or Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set, is a tool created by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to collect data about the quality of care and services provided by physicians and the health plans. HEDIS consists of a set of performance measures in key areas of quality of care, access to care, and member satisfaction. Health plans collect this information from claims data and medical record reviews. The health plans publish this data internally and on their web sites to provide physician specific information. Congratulations to all of our employees for once again helping us achieve this recognition.
